Ms. Gunjan was born in 1980 in a small village (Ranti) of Madhubani. Her family members have been devoted to Madhubani painting (aka Mithila painting) for several generations. Almost every lady of her family is engaged with this folk art and few of them are National Award winners.
Ms. Gunjan, who learnt this traditional art from her grandmother is dedicated to create awareness for Madhubani paintings by making and collecting finest art-works.
